Applying to be a Visiting Member of the Fields InstituteResearchers in the mathematical sciences may apply to be visiting
members of the Fields Institute, particularly in connection with
participation in one of the Institute's thematic programs (see below)
or in other ongoing Institute
activity. Thematic program participants may apply for both funding
and office space. A small number of offices are available for non-program
visitors, but the Fields Institute normally does not fund such visits.
While visiting the Fields Institute, it is expected that you will carry out your own research, participate in the activities related to your interests and collaborate with other visiting members. During your stay at the Institute, you will be provided with library privileges and computer access and other amenities such as office space if available. There is no financial support provided to viisting members. Interested candidates are asked to send us a letter stating the
purpose of their visit and why the Fields Institute is their preferred
location of activity. In additon please include the proposed dates
of the visit, curriculum vitae and the names and contact information
